Laser Ace® Burden Finder

LaserAce® Burden Finder is the world’s first DIRECT blasthole burden measurement system.

The Class 1 eye-safe reflectorless laser instrument allows users to input basic drilling parameters such as drill angle, collar crest distance and required minimum burden. Shoot any point on the rock face in front of a blasthole and directly display the calculated burden and hole depth for that point. A percentage indication of over/ under burden is also displayed on the LCD. The 2D profiling device requires no field recorder or computer to calculate Burden and depth profiles.

Sequential shots taken from the crest to toe in front of the blasthole allows a complete table of burden depths to be saved and displayed. Maximum and minimum burdens are immediately calculated and available to indicate ‘hazardous areas’.

All measured data can be transferred to PC computers and printers using internal Bluetooth® data radio.
